B-17F 42-30030 BK-E/F, "OLD IRONSIDES" - 42-30030 544th BS BK*E. This aircraft flew eight mission with the 384th before its transfer to 2 SAD Lt Staughton 31 July 1943 and then to the 388th BG 560th BS. After two missions it was lost on La Rochelle, 16 September 1943, ditched in North Sea, pilot Nagorka.
