Assignment of (among others) the James A Gibson crew to the 546th Bomb Squadron. Gibson's co-pilot, 2nd Lt Robert H Preller, was the webmaster's father.

Guy Maxey, Mon May 9 2005: Just to let you know, this is the first time l have seen my uncle's name on any Military Document. His name is shown top right, 1st Lt Jesse E Maxey. This is great news. If you can help me in anyway, any news is good news.
