Article published in September 2005 8th AFHS magazine. Letter from Marilyn Fryden, wife of Buslee crew bombardier Marvin Fryden who was killed on August 5, 1944 mission.

In the article's crew photo:
Standing, left to right: John Buslee (P), David Albrecht (CP), Chester Rybarczyk (N), and Marvin Fryden (B).
Kneeling, left to right: Sebastiano Peluso (RO), Erwin Foster (BT), Clarence Seeley (TT), and unidentified.
I believe this photo was taken during crew training in Ardmore, OK.

Corrections to article:
Pilot John Buslee was from Park Ridge, IL.
Co-pilot's name was David Albrecht.
Buslee crew navigator was Chester Rybarczyk from Toledo, Ohio. (Ray Scherer was the navigator on the Bert Brown crew, the same crew on which Frank Furiga - Paul's dad - was bombardier).
My dad, George Edwin Farrar, was the only survivor of the Buslee aircraft in the mid-air collision of September 28, 1944, but several of the original crew members survived because they were not on the plane, including navigator Chester Rybarczyk.

I believe Marvin Fryden and Frank Furiga attended bombardier training together in Deming, New Mexico and then met up again during crew training in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
