William F. Touton - Inscription on reverse reads: Formation flying on the way home from Germany - That's me in the other ship.
Anthony Plowright has identified the ship in the photo as 44-8008 because on the nose is 008 and and the code is Y.
From Anthony: I have come to the conclusion that this photo was most probably taken by William Touton, from the co-pilot seat on 6 Nov 1944, Mission 221. 44-8008 was the lead LOW Sq PFF ship. 42-107125 - Doasy Doats - (with Touton as co-pilot) was the deputy LOW Sq hot camera ship. #125 led the squadron on the bomb run. Hence #125 was in front of #008.
Touton likely meant that the "other ship" was 42-107125 in which he was co-pilot.
Photo contributed by Todd Touton, son of co-pilot William Touton.
