The movie For Whom the Bell Tolls starring Gary Cooper was released in 1943.
The movie was shown at the Roxy Theater on the 1st and 2nd (indicated by the TWO DAYS shown on the marquee) of August 1944 per Station 106 Bulletin #107 dated 1 August 1944.
The signage at the left of the theater indicates progress to date of the 1944 War Bond Drive at Station 106. The War Bond Drive was completed in August 1944.
