Tony P, 23 Mar 2007: This ship is still in 305th BG 422 Sq markings. Transferred to 384th 546 Sq, hence Triangle P. Battle damaged over Munster 10 Oct 43 and crash landed at Eye, Suffolk. SALVAGED.
Superb photograph!!

Tony P, 31 Mar 2007: Have since heard it never went on the raid due to mechanical problems. Instead while being slow timed suffered a major problem and crash landed at Eye. This is perhaps some of the crew wondering why it had to be them??!!
