2Lt Eugene Emmons Burcham was the original Bombardier of 2Lt Dewayne "Ben" Bennett's crew. They flew 18 missions together. Later, Burcham became a Lead Bombardier flying with many different crews. In all he flew 38 missions in 20 different aircraft, with a total of 114 different airmen.
