Fred Disney became the 143rd Veteran of the 384th Bomb Group to sign the wing panel on 30 March 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas..

Disney was a pilot assigned to the 547th Bomb Squadron with crew in February 1943, making him one of the original members of the 384th. Disney was shot down on the 384th's first combat mission, and ditched in the English Channel. Only three members of the crew survived to become POWs for the remainder of the war.

Wing Panel Host for this signing event was David Mitchell.
