Bill Schock became the 139th Veteran of the 384th to sign the wing panel in the Agricultural Hall of the Richardson County Historical Society, Falls City, Nebraska, 15 October 2016.

Schock was assigned to the 546th Bomb Squadron as the Copilot of the Philip MacPhail Crew in September 1943. On his 24th combat mission in April 1944 - his first missions as Pilot - he was shot down and became a POW for the remainder of the war.
