Henry Wennik became the 114th Veteran of the 384th to sign the wing panel on Sunday, 8 March 2015, in Poway California..

Most of his original crewmates became became POW, but Wennik was stood down for the mission on which the remainder of the crew was lost. Strong feelings for his original crew remain to this day. He completed his combat tour with 32 missions in September 1944.

The signing was attended by Henry's son Hank and daughter-in-law Linda (Hank's wife).
