Aircraft shot down on April 24, 1944 mission to Oberphaffenhofen, Germany, piloted by Walter Harvey. Hit by flak 40 miles east of Paris. Six of the crew evaded, 4 taken as POW's. The full account of this story can be found in Ken Decker's Memories VOL. 2, #6.
