384th Mission 113, 23 MAY 1944, Saarbrucken, Germany.

Note the clear markings of the serial number, squadron code, and the name "VOAN" (Col. Dale O. Smith's daughter's name) on the right side of the nose. This authoritatively connects the name and the aircraft.

This aircraft may also have carried the names "WORRY BIRD" and/or "SNUFFY" [doubtful - webmaster].
