This crew was assigned to the 546th Bomb Squadron.

Ford, Radio Operator, KIA 12 July 1944; Lee R. Bedsted, Engineer/Top Turret Gunner, POW 12 July 1944; Melvin H. Gerhold, Ball Turret Gunner, POW 12 July 1944; Louis E. Raines, Tailgunner, POW 12 July 1944.
Front row, left-to-right: James E. Rosborough, Pilot, KIA 12 July 1944; Vincent D. Matlack, Co-Pilot, KIA 12 July 1944; Seymour G. Saslow, Navigator, POW 12 July 1944; John J. Fletcher, Bombardier, POW 12 July 1944.
It is interesting to note that Steorts apparently trained with the crew (he appears in the photo), but reported to Grafton Underwood a couple of weeks after them - but joined the crew for its first mission. A couple of weeks later he left this crew and flew his remaining missions with various other crews.
This appears to be a photo taken at the completion of training, location unknown.
Photo provided by the family of Seymour Saslow, via Seth Schroer, nephew of Victor Brecht.
