Aircraft: 545th BS B-17G 42-3218 JD*R, "DORIS MAE"

The crew was assigned to the 384th BG at Grafton Underwood in October 1943, and this photo was taken shortly thereafter, based on the absence of Air Medal ribbons on their uniforms (would indicate completion of 5 missions).

This photo was sent to "Hattie", George Schutz' widow, by Ken Swanson, the bombardier.
