545th BS - The Fioretti Crew in front of B-17F 42-29809 JD*X Damn Yankee II

Front, L-to-R: Donald Vorisek* (Right Waist); Charles Eyre* (Ball Turret); Phillip Chaperon* (Left Waist); Joseph Rachunas* (tail Gunner); Walter Stuhl (Engineer/Top Turret).

Based on the names of the crewmembers, this photo was taken on 13 April 1944, prior to the mission on which they were shot down.

Crewmen with an asterisk (*) were not members of Fioretti's crew when he was first assigned to the 384th.
