A replica of "the Window" was created by 384th Veteran Everett Barnes and his son, as a gift for Quentin Bland. Quentin thought it should have a wider audience and donated it to the American Air Museum at IWM Duxford. The (relatively) recent renovation of the Museum provided an opportunity to display this artifact in a prime location, viewable with outdoor backlight just as the original.
