"Snuffy" Unloads

B-17G 42-97251 BK-O "Snuffy" at the moment of Bombs-Away. This aircraft was flown by the 546th Bombardment Squadron.

The picture was taken from the right waist gunner's position of a nearby aircraft. This shot clearly shows how close the B-17s were flown in formation!
