On Monday, September 23, 2019, Junket XI visited Madingley cemetery in Cambridge, the only resting place for U.S. service members in the United Kingdom. More than 3,500 are buried here, and another 5,000 more who are still missing in action are remembered here. We held a short service inside the beautiful chapel here. This is the altar, with wreaths laid by recent visitors, including a delegation from the Eighth Air Force museum in Pooler, Georgia.
