Photo of a wedding reception between a USAAF man and a local girl, possibly taken at 'Ketnor House', Hannington Crossroads, on main A43 road between Kettering and Northampton, in spring 1944 or '45. (See daffodil flowers). My grandparents were asked by the local authorities to make USAAF officers welcome in the their house and indeed, a couple of officers did stay at the house for Christmas 1943.
Alternatively, this photo may have been taken elsewhere, perhaps at Grafton Underwood station?
Presumeably the bride was known to my family.
