Dewayne "Ben" Bennett had apparently arranged for a reunion of the Clarence G. "Stearnie" - Stearns Crew in Tucson, Arizona, in early 1995. Stearns, a B-17 Pilot, flew 26 combat missions and was shot down on the last one becoming a POW for the remainder of the war.
