Cecil Gordon Morton was assigned as Radio Operator/Gunner on the Charles W. Bishop Crew.
He was seriously wounded on 12 August 1943, his third combat mission. He was off operations until 9 March 1944 when he resumed flying combat missions.
He was Killed in Action on 13 April 1944 while flying with the Edward A. Fioretti Crew. This was his 16th combat mission.
