This photo was probably taken in the US at the end of their crew training period, in mid-1943.

Standing, left to right: Sgt Victor H. Duro (Ball Turret/Radio Operator, see note); S/Sgt Albert J. Wickline, Tail Gunner; T/Sgt Clyde T. Bush, Engineer; S/Sgt James W. Deese, Waist Gunner, S/Sgt Thomas F. Hanrahan, Radio Operator; S/Sgt Michael R Henneberry, Waist Gunner.
Squatting, left to right: 2Lt Belford B. Candler, Co-pilot; 2Lt Walter G. Williams, Pilot; 2Lt Thomas C. Breen, Jr., Bombardier; 2Lt Carl W. Abele, Navigator.

All identifications have been confirmed except Wickline and Deese, whose draft card information was used to determine which was which.

Note: Duro was replaced by William R. Gennette as Ball Turret Gunner prior to the first mission flown as a complete crew. Duro then went on to fly combat as a Radio Operator for various other crews.
