Northern Lights at Suolovuopmi, Norway

Northern Lights in real time.


Usually one sees time-lapse video, which gives a a false impression of the speed at which the lights change. As you can see, they do change at a detectable rate.


We visited Suolovopmi on a Viking Ocean cruise excursion. Docked in Alta, we took a bus to this location and were rewarded by outstanding displays of the Northern Lights.
