Herbert Carl Selby started his tour of duty at Grafton Underwood assigned to Detachment A, 304th service Group in April 1943 as a Light Truck Driver, MOS 345. He was transferred to the 546th Bomb Squadron in September 1943 and later transferred to Istres, France with the 546th Bomb Squadron, returning to the USA in August 1945.
