Sergeant Glenn Edward Alfter before deployment to the ETO.
Glenn was assigned as a Flexible Gunner on the Farris O Heffley Crew.
Shot down on his 23 combat mission, 13 April 1944, he was held as a Prisoner of War in Stalag 17B Braunau Gneikendorf [actually Gneixendorf] Near Krems Austria 48-15 until liberation in May 1945.
