This crew led the 41st Bomb Wing "C" group to attack an oil refinery at Misburg, near Hannover, Germany.

Personnel:
L-R Standing: First Lieutenant Joe R Carnes, Pilot; Major Maurice A Booska, Air Commander; Captain Tommy P Bolger, Navigator; Second Lieutenant Alfred B Benjamin, Navigator; Captain Charles D Bonnett, Bombardier; Staff Sergeant Raymond A Panici, Flexible Gunner.

L-R Sitting: Technical Sergeant Charles W Ford, Engineer/Top Turret Gunner; Staff Sergeant Iving L Miller, Flexible Gunner; Second Lieutenant Roy E Dobson, Tail Gunner/Observer; Technical Sergeant Albert K Sherriff, Radio Operator; First Lieutenant Joseph J Sarto, Visual (Pilotage) Navigator.

All of the personnel pictured survived their tour of combat duty and returned to the USA.

Aircraft: B-17G, serial number 44-8007, "SCREAMING EAGLE", squadron code JD*Z.
