Col BUDD J. PEASLEE, CO, 384th BG and Gladwin C. Hill, Associated Press, at Grafton Underwood. Time-frame June-September 1943.

On the left is the first 384th Bomb Group Commanding Officer, Colonel Budd John Peaslee.

On the right is Gladwin C. Hill, an American journalist who was a member of the famed Writing 69th, a group of reporters who trained and flew on bombing missions with the Eighth Air Force.
