Photo shows crew after re-assignment to the 305th BG on 25 June 1944, standing in front of 305th B-17G aircraft 43-37837 "STAG PARTY". The Crew is comprised of most of the members of the Fitzgerald Crew that was first assigned to the 384th on 16 May 1944, plus a replacement radio operator from the Gibson Crew, which was assigned the same day.

Back row left-to-right: Thomas H "Pete" Fitzgerald (pilot), Edward J Bullitt (co-pilot), Edwin M. Dexter (navigator), Richard D Eide (bombardier).
Front row, left-to-right: Raphael "Ralph" Henry Hichens (top turret/engineer), Edward Gramc (radio operator), Edgar L "Pappy" Heeg (tail gunner), Charles Owen Beckham (ball turret), Michael Kimak (waist gunner).

The original Fitzgerald Crew assigned to the 384th BG included Carl R Mattheisen (radio operator/gunner) and William J Pattillo (waist gunner), but these men were not included in the transfer. Ed Gramc, original radio operator on the James A Gibson Crew, was transferred to the 305th with this crew.
