This aircraft was assigned to the 384th BG for a short time, 10 July 1943-23 August 1943.

Marc Poole: "We have an unidentified lead crew picture on the 384th website with Loma Lee. I have scratched my head about it for a while...I don't recognize the crew, and in the brief period Loma Lee was with the 384th, it was not a lead ship. I'm wondering if this is a 306th BG crew??? It received credit for the August 16 mission with the Lecates crew, and this doesn't appear to be them. It also flew the Schweinfurt mission the next day, and my relative was lead pilot for that one, so this is not that."
