Here's a nice photo of a young Hank Markow presumably dating from his early flight training. Although I have yet to research the dates, here is a list of his student assignments:

Inducted on 5 January 1942 at Camp Upton, New York

Army Air Force Pre-Flight School, Maxwell Field, Alabama

Primary Flying Training, 52nd Army Air Force Flying Training Detachment (AAFFTD), Albany, Georgia

Basic Flying Training, Greenville, Mississippi

Advanced (TE) Flying Training, Blytheville Army Air Field, Arkansas

Discharged as an Aviation Cadet and commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Corps Reserve on 24 March 1943 at Blytheville Army Air Field
