9 October 1943 41-24529 (still painted in 305th BG code JJ*T) crash landed at Grafton Underwood after slow timing two engines; pilot Berbrich overshot the landing; Gilbert Jacobs, crew chief, was on board along w F. Nelson (CP) & J. Schwartz (N).
