5 December 1944, Myrick pilot on a training mission; landing gear collapsed on a normal landing at 1125 hrs; 3/4 inch drag strut support clevis bolt broke on right landing gear; right outer wing panel & flaps demolished; fuselage buckled at station 6; John Stachon crew chief.
