Not pictured: 2Lt Joseph W Kell, Co-pilot. Kell joined the crew on the 8 May 1944 mission, replacing Martin, who was lost and became a POW on his third mission, on 7 May 1944 with another crew: Martin never flew a mission with the Rimbold Crew. Kell went on to fly 27 missions as a member of this crew.
