Artifact from B-17G 44-6512, which crash landed at Tongeren (Tongres), Belgium on 16 November 1944.

William Liket conveys the following information: Artifacts I found in the wood from the B17G crashed on Nov 16 1944. The wing is found nearby on an old farm. They assured me that it was a wing from the plane. The man standing nearby the wing is my neighbour, Antoine Goossens. He was 14 years old and saw the plane crashing. At that time, he lived about 300 meters from the crash place.
