L-R: David Butcher (TG), Jack Davidson (RO), James Lynn LaRue (TT) of the Lawrence Myer crew, 545th BS; LaRue and Davidson were KIA 4 July 1943; Butcher, a truck driver before the war, was thrown clear of the aircraft when the tail section broke off. He successfully evaded through France to Spain, and arrived back in the UK on 19 March 1944.
