A 384th BG aircraft on the 8 March, 1944 mission to bomb the VKF aircraft bearings plant at Erkner, in Berlin, about 15 miles southeast of the city center. Aircraft heading is approximately southwest. The distinct area immediately off the right wing is the Wilhelmshagen district of Berlin, near the town of Erkner.
Aircraft is probably 42-31484 JD*F "MAIRSY DOATS", flown on this mission by Capt. Robert E. Langlois off the left wing of the low squadron lead.
