Paul Bureau became the 86th Veteran of the 384th Bomb Group to sign the wing panel on 25 January 2014, at the Veterans Memorial Park in Ocala, Florida.

Bureau was an Armorer with the 547th Bombardment Squadron. He joined the 384th in early 1943 at Wendover Airfield, Utah, and served with the Group thru the end of the war. He described what was involved in loading bombs aboard the B-17s, including inserting the nose and tail fuses once the bombs were secure in the racks. He was accompanied to the signing by his wife Helen and daughter Shaye (who had helped with arrangements).

Panel host for this signing event was Fred Preller, with assistance from Sal Scalia. Cindy Bryan made local arrangements, and the staff of the Veterans Memorial Park provided accommodations.
