Bill Wilkens became the 1st Veteran of the 384th Bomb Group to sign the wing panel on 11 September 2010 at the reunion in Branson, Missouri.

Wilkens was assigned to the 547th Bomb Squadron as the Engineer/Top Turret Gunner of the Edward Scherokman Crew in February 1945. He flew 30 combat missions before the end of the air war in Europe.

Panel hosts for the signing were ALL the people who attended the 2010 Reunion.
