Philip Castro became the 13th Veteran of the 384th Bomb Group to sign the wing panel on 24 October 2010, in Tucson, Arizona..

Castro was assigned to the 545th Bomb Squadron as the Engineer/Top Turret Gunner of the Carlo DeGennaro Crew in March 1945. He flew six combat missions before the war ended.

Panel host for this signing event was Christopher Wilkinson.
